Professor Craig Wilcox who studied the diet of Okinawa centennials believes a key factor in their vigorous health can be attributed to the anthocyanins in the purple sweet potato.
Our purple sweet potato powder has undergone hot-air drying process (100° to 80° C for 90 mins, then 80° to 60°C for 150 minutes). Theresult is a vibrant purple powder that is considered ‘cooked’, hence can be sprinkled onto food, beverages such as latte, and can be eaten directly.

Add the desired amount to baby food, milk, baking, ice cream. One tablespoon is approximately 4g.
Baby food – Add 1 tablespoon to about 100ml of water simmered (not boiling) in a saucepan, and stirring continuously until it forms a purple paste. Use as a base for adding other food ingredients to make a complete soft food meal.
Noodles – soak it in warm water with 1 tbsp of purple sweet potato powder to get that dreamy purple noodles
Pasta – add 1 tbsp to make a purple pasta sauce that coats the pasta and turn it into purple!
Baked goods – This powder is suitable for use in cakes, cookies, donuts, kueh (e.g. huat kueh, nyonya kueh), pancakes, puddings, waffles for a healthy low GI version.
Low GI bread – Replace a small portion (5-10%) of the bread flour or whole wheat flour with purple sweet potato powder. Do experiment with the amount, as the more you replace, the lesser the gluten for the bread to rise/proof, as this flour is gluten-free.
